Evangelist John Kola-Idowu is a Nigerian-born gospel artist renowned for his soulful and spiritually uplifting music. Hailing from Epe in Lagos State, Nigeria, he was born into the family of Chief Gabriel Kola-Idowu. Despite facing early life challenges, including the loss of his mother at the age of six, John found solace and purpose in music, which became a cornerstone of his faith and ministry.

With decades of experience, John has made significant strides in the gospel music scene both in Nigeria and the United States. His dedication to spreading the message of hope and faith is evident in his ambitious project, "Orin Dafidi (Songs of Psalms 1-150)," where he transformed all 150 Psalms into Yoruba songs. This monumental work comprises 12 musical albums featuring 150 songs, aiming to offer listeners an immersive spiritual journey through the Psalms.

By the end of the year 2035, the JKI Gospel Music Team aims to produce 200 different language versions of the Hymns of David - The Book of Psalms.

This ground-breaking vision will not only preserve and spread the Psalms of David through music but also engage over 30,000 new generation of gospel singers. JKI TEAM will collaborate with both seasoned Gospel Ministers and emerging Gospel Artists to fulfil this Holy assignment.

❖ PRODUCING THE HYMNS OF DAVID IN 200 LANGUAGES

Identifying and selecting 200 global languages that represent diverse cultures while preserving the sacred messages of the hymns.

❖ CREATING A TOTAL OF 30,000 WORSHIP SONGS

Each of the 200 languages will feature 150 different hymns, resulting in a grand total of 30,000 worship songs.
The hymns will incorporate various musical styles, ensuring deep connection with audiences worldwide.

❖ RAISING 30,000 GOSPEL MUSICIANS

JKI GOSPEL MUSIC TEAM will partner with Christian Organizations, Gospel Ministers, Musicians to mentor and raise aspiring Gospel Artists /Musicians.

The Hymns of David will be available in 200 languages, enabling millions to worship in their native tongues.
